The Minocqua-Arbor Vitae-Woodruff Area Chamber of Commerce (“MAVWACC”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users of the MAVWACC websites. The information we collect is used exclusively to facilitate services that we provide to you. We value your privacy and will take all necessary steps to protect it.

Our promise
We will not communicate with you unless you expressly request it. We are committed to your privacy and will not share your personal information.

Our company commitment to privacy
To make sure your personal information remains confidential; we communicate these privacy guidelines to every MAVWACC employee.
The MAVWACC does not knowingly solicit personal information from children or send them requests for personal information.
MAVWACC website or email correspondence may contain links to other sites. The MAVWACC does not share your personal information with those sites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to learn about the privacy policies of those companies.
If we are going to use your personal information differently from that stated at the time we collect it, we will try to contact you via email using the most recent information we have. If you have not given us permission to communicate with you, you will not be contacted nor will we use your personal information in a new manner.

Navigation information
Each time you visit the MAVWACCs Web sites, anonymous navigation information is collected by our servers. This information includes: the type of browser and operating system you are using, the address of the referring site (ie the previous site you had visited) and the Website you leave our site to visit, the date and time of your visit, your server's IP address (a number which is unique to the machine), and the address of the pages you accessed.

This provides the MAVWACC with information about how the Web sites is used and navigated, including the number of hits, the frequency of visits and the duration of visits to each Web page on the site. It does not personally identify individual users.

Security
We make our best efforts to ensure that our systems are secure. MAVWACC safeguards the security of the data you provide to us with physical, electronic and managerial procedures.

The MAVWACC website contains links to other sites and we attempt to only link to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy. Links to third-party websites are provided as a convenience for our site visitors and do not constitute endorsement or control of their content.
The MAVWACC has compiled content and information contained in this site based on data provided by local tourism partners and business entities. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of this information, the MAVWACC makes no representations, guarantees or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information provided on this web site. All data is subject to change without notice. Travelers are advised to contact individual businesses or organizations to obtain the most current information before traveling.

MAVWACC materials may be copied and distributed for personal, noncommercial, informational purposes only. MAVWACC Website Images Terms of Use
This Terms of Use shall apply to the use of any images contained within the Minocqua-Arbor Vitae-Woodruff Area Chamber of Commerce (“MAVWACC”) Website, located at www.minocqua.org
As a condition of using the images, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
The MAVWACC owns or has the right to use the images contained on the Website, including the right to make these images available to the public;
All images remain the property of the MAVWACC at all times.
All uses of the images must include a photo credit, using the language provided by the MAVWACC Webmaster.
A copy of any publication using images contained on the Website must be provided to: Minocqua - Arbor Vitae - Woodruff Area Chamber of Commerce, 8216 Hwy. 51, P.O. Box 1006, Minocqua, WI 54548
Pornographic, defamatory, libelous or otherwise unlawful use of an image is prohibited.
Your right to use the images is not assignable and the images are non-transferable.
If images are used in the design of a Web site, your request for the use of the images must include the address of the Web site where the images will appear and a link to www.minocqua.org must be prominently displayed on that Web site along with the image.
An image may not be incorporated in a product for the purpose of redistributing the image or for commercial gain.
It is unlawful to sell, rent or lease the image(s).
If the requested image is a trademarked image of the MAVWACC, you must execute a License Agreement with the MAVWACC. The License Agreement will be provided by the MAVWACC Webmaster.
The MAVWACC Webmaster must approve the proposed use of the images before the images may be used. Any use of the images that is in addition to the use initially approved by the MAVWACC Webmaster is prohibited without the additional approval of the MAVWACC Webmaster.
You will neither (1) challenge the validity of the MAVWACC’s ownership or right to use the images in any jurisdiction nor (2) contest the fact that your rights to use the images are limited by this Terms of Use.
You will hold harmless the MAVWACC from any liability that results in any way from your use of the images.
Any use of the images contained in the Website without the consent of the MAVWACC Webmaster or that otherwise fails to comply with these Terms of Use is strictly prohibited. You acknowledge that any use of the images in violation of this Terms of Use shall result in irreparable harm to the MAVWACC and you shall not allege or assert that the MAVWACC has an adequate remedy at law. In addition to the other remedies available at law or equity, the MAVWACC reserves the right to seek an injunction against the unauthorized use of the images.

The laws of the State of Wisconsin shall govern this Terms of Use, without regard to its principles of the conflicts of laws. In the event of a dispute arising under this Terms of Use, the Parties agree that any legal actions concerning this Terms of Use or the images shall be brought in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.

In the event of a conflict between the Legal Information referenced above and these Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall control.
